If you've always wondered how to approach pruning your backyard vineyard or simply enjoy conversing with fellow wine lovers, join Kaj Ahlmann and his staff at Six Sigma Ranch in Lower Lake on Saturday, March 6th for their third annual "Pruning and Pastries."

The two-hour event will start at 10a.m. under the oak trees at the Six Sigma Ranch gate with coffee, tea and pastries followed by a hands-on winter "Pruning-101" demo lead by Vineyard Manager David Weiss.  Bring your vineyard pruning questions and dress for the weather.  Space is limited; reserve your spot by calling 707-994-4068 or purchase your $15 ticket (SSR wine club members $7.50) on-line at www.sixsigmaranch.com/events.cfm.  Wine for tasting and purchase will be available at the conclusion of the event.
