Lake County’s annual Barrels and Verticals event is Saturday, February 24th! It is a wine extravaganza involving multiple Lake County wineries offering barrel tastings straight from the source as well as wine tastings of the same wine through different vintages. This spectacular in-person event is a great opportunity to mingle with fellow wine enthusiasts, meet the winemakers, and expand your wine knowledge.

Gregory Graham Wines: After refining his skills at Freemark Abbey Winery and Rombauer Vineyard in Napa, winemaker Gregory Graham brought his expertise here to Lake County. Taste through some of the best red wines the area has to offer.

Stonehouse Cellars The laid-back vibe of Stonehouse Cellars belies the quality of wines here! Step up for some serious verticals Stonehouse’s Coyote’s Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is always a fan favorite.

Langtry Farms The historic (and sustainable) Langtry Farms invites guests to take in sweeping views while tasting through fabulous Petit Verdot, Merlot, and more. Langtry’s library wines highlight how beautifully Lake County wines age.

Mt. Konocti Winery Mt. Konocti Winery dates back to the 1920s, when pear orchards ruled the county. Today, it maintains the rustic feel while bringing the craft of agriculture to winemaking with Cabernet Sauvignons, dessert wines, and more.

Thorn Hill Vineyards Visiting Thorn Hill Vineyards is like stepping through a portal to Tuscany. Take in the mountain views rising behind lavender fields as you taste through their elegant whites and reds.

Domaine Helena. One of Lake County’s newest wineries, Domaine Helena’s owner, André Guéziec has relied upon his French roots and his upbringing among Alsace wines to influence the farming operations, maintenance and winemaking.
