Obsidian Ridge Vineyard was planted in 1999, half a mile above sea level amid red volcanic soil shot with obsidian, overlooking a dormant volcano. Our wines are aged exclusively in Hungarian oak from the Tokaj forest made by Kádár, the cooperage we have owned for nearly thirty years.
